"Life After Hate" -- A Discussion and Q&A Session with Former members of Violent Far-Right Extremist Groups (on Zoom)

7:30 PM - 8:30 PMHill Havurah's Adult Programs Committee presents an evening with former members of violent far-right extremist (VFRE) movements. These “Formers” (in their own parlance) have made a commitment “…to interrupt violence committed in the name of ideological or religious beliefs.”
From the Life After Hate Mission Statement: “Founded by former extremists, we are committed to helping people leave the violent far-right to connect with humanity and lead compassionate lives.”
During the evening, we will learn about risk factors that draw people into VFRE movements, and two Formers will each tell their stories. There will be a Q&A session, at which time attendees will have an opportunity to ask the speakers about their experiences and lessons learned.
