Governance

Hill Havurah is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit
organization and is a member congregation of
the National Havurah Committee and the Capitol Group Ministry.

Hill Havurah is governed by a Board elected
annually by members.


This all-volunteer board includes members
diverse in terms of professional and personal

attributes, and the types of Hill Havurah
programs with which they are likely to be
affiliated
.  The board represents our many
varied family and single 
household
configurations
.

    Walking Tour of Jewish H Street, NE

    Did you know that there were more than 75 Jewish businesses on H Street dating back to the late 19th century? Do you know the location of a former synagogue building just off of H? Join the Capital Jewish Museum on a one hour walking tour to learn all about the H Street corridor and its Jewish businesses and residents. The tour will be led by volunteer and Capital Jewish Museum Board Member (and Hill Havurah's own) Marlene Zakai. Space is limited, so please register now at this link.
