Governance

Hill Havurah is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit
organization and is a member congregation of
the National Havurah Committee and the Capitol Group Ministry.

Hill Havurah is governed by a Board elected
annually by members.


This all-volunteer board includes members
diverse in terms of professional and personal

attributes, and the types of Hill Havurah
programs with which they are likely to be
affiliated
.  The board represents our many
varied family and single 
household
configurations
.

    Join Rabbi Hannah as she leads us in welcoming Shabbat with a spirited service followed by a potluck. We supply the wine and drinks, congregants bring a dairy or vegetarian dish.

    MLK 3rd Annual Celebration
    Sunday, Jan 20th 9:30a to 11:30a
    Our gathering will take place during Yavneh on Sunday, January 20th. We’ll have a service project at 9:30 am, followed by an assembly hearing from Jewish and Muslim speakers dedicated to Dr. King’s vision at 10:30 am, and then an opportunity to discuss allyship, justice work, and even the Women’s March amongst our community and with visitors from Masjid Muhammad. There will be children’s activities planned during that last hour, as well, which parents are encouraged to attend with their children.     Hill Havurah and Reformation members will gather for a potluck lunch from 12:30-3pm with a goal of learning more about one another and our communities. We hope that this will be the start of an ongoing relationship that involves mutual support and friendship - we have much in so common beyond the space that we share, and differences that make us unique to explore as well!
