Come for the cheese and crackers, cheesecake, and wine -- stay for revelation from the Torah and from one another. Shavu'ot is the day we celebrate receiving Torah from Sinai -- thousands of years ago and continually. It's traditional to learn from the book of Ruth, eat dairy, and learn together into the evening.
