We know that as the world continues to evolve, we and the teens in our lives constantly need to learn new things, grow, and expand our points of view. Our synagogue has chosen to partner with Moving Traditions to enhance parents’ learning, build community, and provide tools that we hope can help you with the difficult task of parenting a teen. The Moving Traditions sessions for parents connect Jewish wisdom and social-emotional learning to a variety of challenging conversations and topics.

In our upcoming interactive workshop for parents called “Antisemitism and Teen Wellbeing” we will be exploring our emotions around antisemitism, learning about how antisemitism might be showing up in our teens’ lives, and developing tools for using a social-emotional lens to have conversations about antisemitism with our teens. As a part of your Jewish community, we want to help you think deeply about these topics and gain clear strategies on how to discuss them with your teens.
