On Sunday, May 3, 2020, Hill Havurah and Lutheran Church of the Reformation members will mark the Interfaith Council of Metropolitan Washington's annual Day of Unity by participating in Yachad's  "Sukkot in the Spring" program.

WHAT IS YACHAD:  Yachad is the nation's largest home/community repair program sponsored by the Jewish community.  Yachad’s mission is to bring communities together by preserving affordable homes and revitalizing neighborhoods throughout the District of Columbia and the greater metropolitan area.

WHAT IS SUKKOT IN THE SPRING:  Come together with your community and Yachad to roll up your sleeves and lend a hand working together with a homeowner to make critical repairs and see the impact you can make in a day.  When you volunteer with Yachad, you work together as a community, learn new skills, and have a ton of fun. Your time and energy will transform a space into a special place to call home.

We are seeking volunteeers to work one of the following two shifts: 9:30 am - 1:00 pm; and 12:30 - 4:00 pm.

For more information, you can contact Simon Epstein at simon@truemediainc.com.
