You are joyfully invited to join the Hill Havurah Chizuk Class of 5784 as they affirm their decisions to become adult members of the Jewish community. While confirmation is a long-standing tradition in many Jewish communities for tenth grade students, the teens in our community have chosen to call their ritual Chizuk, or Strengthening, highlighting the strength of their self-motivation and excitement for their Jewish journeys.

Please join us for a Kabbalat Shabbat service on Friday, May 24th, from 6:30-7:30 pm, followed by a vegetarian/pescatarian potluck dinner celebration, at Reformation (212 East Capitol St., NE). 

The Chizuk students will share their own torah throughout the service, and we will bless them as a community on their way. We are so excited to have the opportunity to learn from these young adults, showering them with blessings, and celebrating mitzvot, Torah, Jewish community together!

Our generous volunteers are a key pillar in our organization, and helps bolster everything we do.

We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make our events a success!

Volunteer positions include help with set up, clean up, and door greeters.
