Marilyn Price, international storyteller, puppeteer, educator, and author, will be joining us for Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday, February 21st! She’ll be sharing stories throughout the service, which will begin at 6:30 pm, as well as a little taste for young ones during our pre-service pizza gathering at 6:00 pm (please RSVP here if you want pizza). “Over the years Marilyn and her puppets have traveled to every corner of the United States using original scripts based on Bible, the Midrash and Hasidic tales. Her choice of materials - she makes all her puppets – reflects her impish sense of humor as nerf balls, feather dusters, toilet paper tubes and baby sleepers come to life with her touch.” As is our custom, the service is followed by a potluck dinner; we supply the wine and drinks and some of the food, congregants bring a dairy or vegetarian dish.
