Hill Havurah’s Tikkun Olam Committee and Anti-Racism Task Force will host two virtual book groups— one for teens and one for adults—over the MLK Jr. Day weekend. We are proud to offer the congregation an opportunity to learn with scholar and Havurah member Keiana Mayfield, whose research on anti-racism training is advancing the way our society talks about race by examining how it’s discussed within families. Masjid Muhammad members will be joining us as well.

• Adult Book Group on Sunday, January 17, at 10:30 am, to discuss So You Want to Talk About Race by Ijeoma Oluo (focus on chapters 1-6 and 12) and a supplementary article on Judaism and anti-racism. Facilitated by Keiana Mayfield. To register for this book discussion group, click HERE.
