Tu B'shevat Tree Tales (an outdoor event for families with young children)

Friday, January 29, 2021 16 Sh'vat 5781

4:00 PM - 4:30 PM
Join Laura Vitiello, Gan Shalom's Early Childhood Director, for a nature walk around Kingman & Heritage Islands -- and some stories to celebrate the New Year or Birthday of Trees. We'll explore, with some tree-related picture books, different stories trees may have to tell and all the ways trees and humankind work together.

We will be welcoming the first 6 or 7 families that register (not to exceed a total of 24 people). To register, please click here.

Attendees will be required to follow Hill Havurah's "In-Person Event Protocols," including wearing masks throughout. Please dress accordingly for a sunset winter stroll and for a possible planting activity.

We will meet at the main entrance to Heritage Island, next to RFK Parking Lot 6 (to see a map, click here).

This event is supported by a generous grant from The Jewish Federation of Greater Washington.
