Socially Distant Outdoor Chanukkah Celebration

Sunday, December 13, 2020 27 Kislev 5781

5:00 PM - 6:15 PM
Session 1: 5:00-5:30 pm; Session 2: 5:45-6:15 pm
[Rain Date: Monday, December 14th, same times as Sunday]
Rabbi Hannah will be leading a socially distant outdoor Chanukkah celebration in front of Reformation (at 212 East Capitol Street, NE). We’ll hear Chanukkah music (recorded), light a menorah (just one; no crowding together this year), and watch live fire dancers (!!!) bring some warmth and light to the season.
  • In compliance with the Mayor's 11/23 order and to enable proper social distancing, we will be limiting attendance to 25 at each of the two sessions of this event (5:00-5:30 pm & 5:45-6:15 pm).
  • Adults and children ages three and older will be required to wear a mask for the duration of the event.
  • To remain socially distanced, please bring a picnic blanket or chairs to sit on and mark your space.
In order to attend this special event, you must register here. Thank you.
Please note: (1) The Capitol Hill BID Annual Menorah Lighting will not be an in-person event this year but instead streamed online; (2) If a change in DC health guidance/regulations forces us to cancel our December 13th celebration (or if inclement weather forces a postponement to our rain date), we will announce this on our website homepage and in an email to all registrants.
