8:00 PM - 9:00 PMHill Havurah's Anti-Racism Task Force is presenting a special opportunity for us to learn about efforts to improve the quality of life of returning citizens and their families and communities -- a panel discussion featuring two prominent local activists. Lashonia Thompson-El is the co-chief of violence reduction at the Office of the DC Attorney General and author of Through the W.I.R.E.: My Search for Redemption. Eric Weaver is the founder and chairman of the National Association for the Advancement of Returning Citizens. Rabbi Hannah will moderate this hour-long Zoom presentation.
