Shavuot Shiur/Class with Jenna Shaw, our New Rabbinic Intern

Celebrate Shavuot by joining Hill Havurah's new rabbinic intern Jenna Shaw for a (Zoom) class at 7:30 pm on Sunday night (5/16) exploring -- through Biblical texts, commentaries, modern writings, and poetry -- what it means for each of us to experience and own Torah in a way that is unique to our own experiences and identities.

Poet Merle Feld writes that we were all standing together at Sinai, but experienced “Revelation” in drastically different ways based on our identities and lived experiences. What does it mean that everyone was standing at Mount Sinai, but experiencing revelation differently? What does it mean for us as Jews today?
